What is BodyTite?

Many people have loose skin and areas of excess fat on their body that they'd really like to correct without surgical liposuction or an invasive body lift. BodyTite is an innovative, minimally invasive liposuction treatment, which tightens your skin with very little recovery time. The RFAL (radiofrequency-assisted liposuction) in BodyTite allows board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Kevin Hanz to efficiently help his patients in Dallas, TX enhance their body shape and get one step closer to achieving the body of their dreams. BodyTite is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to safely remove fat and improve skin laxity without scars for quick, impressive results. Schedule an appointment at Kevin R. Can I Get BodyTite?

BodyTite can help if you would like to see better contours and skin tightness in one or many areas of your body. You may be a candidate for BodyTite if you want to eliminate pockets of fat and enhance the appearance of sagging, wrinkled skin. You may have considered traditional liposuction or body lift surgery, but a procedure, like BodyTite, can minimize surgical scarring and recovery time. Many areas of the body may be treated with BodyTite, but some of the common regions patients want help with are the arms, stomach, chest, thighs, and knees. If you feel like you fall into this category, schedule a consultation with Dr. Hanz today. He's happy to get to know your needs and goals and help you determine if BodyTite is best for you.

How Does BodyTite Work?

The BodyTite procedure is generally done with local anesthesia, but general anesthesia can be used if you are nervous or you are having several areas treated. The specially designed BodyTite applicator is inserted through very small incisions in your skin. It will then use a combination of radiofrequency therapy and liposuction to suck out fat and melt fatty tissue to give you smoother skin. The applicator has an internal and external thermometer that will guard you against burns. The applicator will liquefy and loosen the fat using radiofrequency waves so that the fat can be easily removed out of your body. The heat used during the fat elimination will tighten your skin and connective tissue for visible improvements. BodyTite treatments normally take around 30 – 45 minutes per area. Multiple treatments may be needed or suggested by Dr. Hanz to provide your best results.

What Can I Expect After BodyTite?

The good news about BodyTite is the recovery period is much quicker than it is with liposuction. You'll need someone to drive you home from your procedure and can expect about 5 – 7 days needed for rest. A compression garment should be worn over the treated areas to encourage healing while holding your new contours. Some results will be visible instantly; however, your final results won't be apparent for 3 – 6 months when the swelling and inflammation are gone. While the fat that's removed cannot return, the remaining fat in your body can become bigger if you gain weight; therefore, it is very important to keep a healthy, steady weight after your BodyTite procedure.

BodyTite FAQ

How much does BodyTite cost?

How much your BodyTite procedure will cost depends on how many areas you need to be treated. Dr. Hanz and his staff will talk to you about your aesthetic needs during your consultation and craft a custom treatment plan for you. Once this is complete, he can better estimate the cost of your treatment.

Is BodyTite better than surgical options?

For men and women that want to reshape their bodies without long recovery times, surgical scars, and the higher costs associated with cosmetic surgery, BodyTite is a better option. While many patients are completely satisfied with their BodyTite results, traditional surgical procedures like tummy tucks, arm lifts, and thigh lifts can provide a higher level of results for a wider range of body issues. Dr. Hanz can discuss the differences between a BodyTite procedure and plastic surgery to help you decide which one is right for you.

What are radiofrequency treatments?

Radiofrequency (RF) energy uses electrical currents to create a controlled heat delivered deep into your skin. This heat targets and eliminates unwanted pockets of fat without disrupting or damaging the surrounding healthy tissue. It also helps to naturally promote the growth of collagen and elastin for tighter, healthier, and younger-looking skin.

Is it BodyTite safe?

Absolutely. BodyTite is an FDA-approved aesthetic treatment that has become extremely popular with both women and men wanting to tighten, tone, and reshape their bodies. This nonsurgical procedure works gently, has little to no recovery time, and allows patients to return to light activities shortly after treatment. More strenuous activities can be resumed within 5 - 10 days after the treatment but will vary depending on how extensive the BodyTite treatment is and the number of treated areas.
