Are You Interested in Facial Rejuvenation in Dallas-Fort Worth?

There has never been a better time to improve the look of your face! With a wealth of options available, both surgical and non-surgical, an experienced, well-qualified plastic surgeon can transform the look of your face. Whether you decide on a facelift or something less invasive, your doctor can provide treatments to target the signs of aging, like wrinkles, volume loss, skin laxity, and pigmentation issues. Developing a personalized treatment plan, your doctor will help you explore your options, in order to achieve natural results that enhance your look and rejuvenate your face.

Non-Surgical Treatments

The benefits of non-surgical treatments are numerous. Performed in clinical settings, these procedures do not require general anesthesia and have little to no downtime. They cost less and take far less time than surgical treatments, involve very little pain, if any, and provide nearly instant results, with temporary to no side effects. They also involve fewer risks than surgical treatments, but their results are not as dramatic. Still, they can refresh the look of the face, addressing many signs of aging. Non-surgical treatments include:

  • Skin Resurfacing: There are many different treatments that resurface the skin, using different techniques to remove.
    • Energy-based Aesthetic Treatments: At our clinic, we offer a wide range of energy-based treatments, to meet the needs of different patients. Cool Peel® is a new method of delivering the benefits of CO2 resurfacing, targeting only the superficial layer of tissue to remove damage skin and reveal the new, healthy skin under it. The Sciton MicroLaser Peel® improves the overall tone and texture of skin using a precision laser. This treatment removes the outer layer of skin and eliminates damaged cells, to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration. It can also help tighten the deeper layers, to promote more youthful-looking, smoother skin. Laser Skin Resurfacing, with Sciton®Halo™ technology uses ablative and nonablative energy to work layer by layer, removing damaged skin. This extremely adjustable procedure can provide customized treatment based on the needs of the patient.
    • Chemical peels: This type of treatment uses a chemical solution to remove the outer layers of skin and reveal a smoother complexion. Chemical peels can reduce or remove blotchiness and discoloration, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, minimize or remove scars, tighten the skin, brighten the complexion, and remove keratoses or precancerous growths. Chemical peels can be light, medium, or deep, and your surgeon will talk to you about which type is best for your skin type and unique needs.
    • Microdermabrasion: This is a fairly gentle treatment that can minimize fine lines and wrinkles, brighten skin and improve its tone, reduce age spots and mild scars, and help skincare products to work more effectively. Used on the face, neck, hands, or body, microdermabrasion involves using a very fine tipped instrument or applying a fine mist of abrasive particles, then immediately vacuuming away the exfoliated skin. There are minimal side effects, it requires no downtime, and microdermabrasion is safe for every skin type.
    • Hydrafacial®: This very popular, award-winning facial and body treatment detoxifies and hydrates, diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, and tightens the skin. A Hydrafacial® can be personalized to meet the client’s unique skin goals, but essentially involves three steps. First, it cleanses and exfoliates with a gentle peel, then it extracts impurities, using a vacuum wand, and finally it hydrates, saturating the skin with intense moisturizers. The result is more balanced, healthier skin.
  • Microneedling: Unlike skin resurfacing techniques like peels or microdermabrasion, which remove a layer of skin, microneedling works by stimulating the skin’s natural healing processes. To do this, microscopic injuries are created in the skin using very fine, short needles, prompting the skin to produce new collagen, elastin, and healthy skin cells. Microneedling can be used to address fine lines and wrinkles, scars, enlarged pores, sun damage and hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and problems with skin texture. At Kevin R Hanz Aesthetics, we use Morpheus8 technology by InMode, to provide radiofrequency (RF)microneedling.
  • Injectables: Different types of injectables can be used to address different concerns, but they all provide fast and effective results, enhancing the overall appearance of the face. BOTOX® is probably the most famous injectable, and it uses neurotoxins to temporarily freeze facial muscles and reduce wrinkles. Injectables like Bellafill, a collagen-based facial filler, add volume to the skin and can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, as well as treating acne scars, nasolabial folds, and set pores. There are also fillers to plump the lips, and fillers can be used with other procedures to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. Instalift threads provide facelift-like results, using hidden, soluble sutures to instantly lift the face and prompt the production of collagen and elastin.
  • BroadBand Light Therapy (BBL): Using therapeutic-grade light energy, this treatment gently heats the skin’s top layer, increasing collagen production. Using BBL therapy, a variety of issues can be treated, including sun damage, unwanted freckles, broken blood vessels, and rosacea. This treatment can also help create a smoother and more even skin texture.
  • Trilift by Lumenis: This revolutionary new technique provides what is essentially a non-surgical facelift, using three different therapies to strengthen muscles and tighten skin. Dynamic Muscle Stimulation activates facial muscles with electrical stimulation, creating a more well-defined, toned, lifted look. Focused Radiofrequency (RF) treatment thickens and strengthens the dermal layer, to address wrinkles, while regenerating collagen and elastin. RF assisted Microneedling tightens and smooths the skin and increases its natural volume by stimulating the natural production of Hyaluronic Acid.

Do You Need a Facelift Procedure?

When you think of a facelift, you may not realize that there are many different types of lifts to consider. Some address the upper part of the face, others address the lower part, and some are not as invasive as others. Facelifts can be customized, and they can be combined with other procedures, for better results. How much does a facelift cost? The answer is complicated, because it depends on which type of facelift is done, and with which complementary procedures. It is important to find a reputable and experienced surgeon, who can discuss whether you need a facelift, or whether a different type of facial surgery would be a better fit for you. Surgical treatments to enhance and rejuvenate the face include:

  • Full Facelift: In a traditional facelift, an incision is typically made along the hairline, either stopping near the base of the ears or at the temples. Pulling the underlying facial muscles delicately, the doctor secures them tightly to reduce wrinkles and sagging. This is the best way to address visible signs of aggressive aging, for both men and women.
  • Mid Facelift: If improvement in the lower two-thirds of the face is the goal, this is a good option. In a mid-facelift, also called a cheek lift, the features near the cheekbones are targeted, and the look of jowls is improved, but the forehead and jaws are not addressed.
  • Lower Facelift: For those whose concern is the neck, chin, and jowls, a lower facelift may be the solution. This procedure can lift sagging skin, around the mouth, upper lip, nose, cheeks, and chin, but does not affect the neck or jawline. It can be used in conjunction with nonsurgical injections, to tighten and improve the look of the neck.
  • Mini facelift cost: A mini facelift helps with improve the mouth and jawline, with subtle, natural looking enhancements. It involves a small incision, placed near the ears.
  • Neck Lift: This surgery improves the look of the jawline and neck, and can be used to treat excess fat and skin that cause the look of jowls, as well as fatty deposits under the chin, loose neck skin, and muscle banding in the neck.
  • Brow Lift: To erase wrinkles and lift the brows, a brow lift works to refresh the look of the face. There are different types of brow lifts, some less invasive than others.
  • Blepharoplasty: This is eyelid surgery to remove excess skin and fat from the eyelids. It can be performed on the upper and lower eyelids, to get rid of puffiness, reduce the look of hooded eyelids, and minimize sagging. Having a blepharoplasty can make the eyes look more vibrant and youthful.
