Renuvion is an amazing non-surgical solution for reducing wrinkles and rhytides, but it’s not for everybody. This procedure requires recovery time and is not recommended for patients with darker skin tones but is limited to patients with Fitzpatrick skin types I, II, or III. What can Renuvion J-Plasma Treat?
Renuvion can be used to tighten the skin in almost any body area. Common areas include:

How does Renuvion Skin tightening treatment work?
For the Renuvion procedure, the specialist creates a small entry point placing the device just under the skin. Once the device is in place, the specialist releases pro helium gas and radiofrequency (RF) to create a precise stream of energy (plasma). This energy generates enough heat to contract the skin while, at the same time, excess helium gas cools the treatment area. This combination of energy contracts the tissues just under the skin, which tightens it.

What should I expect during the recovery time?
The healing process typically takes about two weeks, but for certain individuals, it could last longer, as with all procedures individual results may vary. As your face heals, you should expect redness, peeling, and some swelling. Dr. Kevin Hanz will share photos of other patients during their recovery and explain in detail how to take care of your skin while it heals to achieve the best results from your J-Plasma treatment.
